Welcome Tunatown.co.nz
Welcome to the Tuna Town Productions website. We Produce short films and create visual effects. This site serve us as a platform to showcase our films and hopefully provides fellow low budget filmmakers a place to share ideas.

On this site you will find a bit of behinds the scenes info about our films also a forum to discuss low-budget films/film-making and some tutorials(or at least some links to tutorials)for making films.

Terry the Tuna Behind the Name
Tuna (pronounced Too-Nah) is the Māori word for eel (more specifically: Two New Zealand freshwater species long-finned eel and the short-finned eel.

A popular fishing spot for tuna is Tuna Town, the nickname for area of river near the edge of the town of Moerewa, New Zealand, where we shot our first films. It is also the nickname of the town of Moerewa. Most of the Tuna Town Productions crew were born and bred in or around Moerewa.

WARNING: A lot of New Zealand slang is used on this site. Go here if you don't understand any words we use.
